Test & Inspection Engineers
Location: Aquithie Facility, Kemnay

Safelift Offshore require the following for our new facility at Aquithie, Kemnay.

Test & Inspection Engineers

Job Type : Full-Time

Due to ongoing work and expansion, Safelift Onshore are seeking to employ experienced Lifting Equipment Test Engineers.

Ideally, candidates should have at least >

4 years of experience in the industry. Preferably have LEEA & NDT qualifications, along with a knowledge of Mechanical Handling Systems and Lifting Appliances.

Required to work onshore at our busy Test & Inspection Department at Aquithie, Kemnay and at client worksite locations as required, along with being able to undertake the undernoted >

Conduct statutory thorough examinations of lifting machines, lifting accessories and other equipment in accordance with relevant legislation, standards and works instructions

Prepare, conduct and disassemble equipment required for proof load tests

Complete paperwork and LOLER reports

Regular interface with clients

Interpret technical drawings

Maintain a current knowledge of product knowledge, capabilities and developments

Provide technical assistance to clients

Follow HSE, Quality Policy and relevant procedures

Carry out other duties as instructed by management

Fabricator/Welder
Location: Aquithie Facility, Kemnay

To work onshore as part of our busy Fabrication Department.


Ability to work from engineering drawings an advantage, as well as on own initiative, but consideration will be given to all applicants with relative skills and experience.


Candidates must be conscientious, hardworking and reliable.

Design Engineer/Draughtperson
Location: Kemnay, Aberdeenshire

Safelift offshore requires a Design Engineer/Draughtsperson to join our Design Engineering team. Playing an integral part of the team, completing in-house product development work as well as bespoke mechanical handling solutions for our growing international client base.

 

As a Design Engineer/Draughtsperson, you must have the following skills:

 

Fully conversant with Autodesk Inventor

Experience in completing general arrangements and manufacturing drawings

Experience of ISO 10855 / BS EN 12079 / DNV2.7-1 

Experience in Containers, Transportation, and Lifting Frame design advantageous.

Some Crane, Lifting, and Mechanical handling knowledge beneficial

Excellent attention to detail  essential with further educational qualifications in relevant discipline advantageous.

Trainee/Graduate/Project Engineer
Location: Kemnay, Aberdeenshire

Safelift offshore requires a Project Engineer to join our renowned Engineering team to support all of our product supply and engineered solutions. Playing an integral part of the team, the project engineer will support all aspects of the project scope.

 

As a Project Engineer, you must have the following skills:

 

Self-motivated team player with the ability to manage own and others schedules.

Ability to plan and lead supply project documentation packages with client communication.

Familiarisation with Autodesk Inventor / Autodesk Nastran frame analysis package is an advantage.

Knowledge of MS Project, Excel and other planning based software.

Experience of ISO 10855 / BS EN 12079 / DNV2.7-1  and some Crane, Lifting, and Mechanical handling knowledge would be beneficial

Excellent attention to detail is essential with further education qualifications in relevant discipline (HND/Degree or working through qualifications) advantageous.

Engineering & Design Manager
Location: Kemnay, Aberdeenshire

Safelift offshore requires an Engineering and Design Manager to join and lead our renowned Engineering Team. Playing an integral part of the team, the Engineering and Design Manager will be responsible for all aspects of our engineering team and be able to work closely with other company departments including sales and manufacturing.  

 

As Engineering Manager, you must have the following skills:

 

Ability to manage engineering projects on a day to day basis. Ensuring Client requirements are fulfilled.

Self-motivated with the ability to communicate internally and externally.

Conversant with Autodesk Inventor / Autodesk Nastran frame analysis package or similar.

Experience of ISO 10855 / BS EN 12079 / DNV2.7-1 with ability to manage external design verifications.

Support Engineering colleagues and liaise with other disciplines and departments as projects requires.

Crane, Lifting, and Mechanical handling experience/knowledge would be beneficial.

Excellent attention to detail is essential with further education qualifications in relevant discipline advantageous.

QHSE and Training Manager
Location: Aquithie Facility, Kemnay

Manage and lead company on training requirements for daily activities.

Manage company external/vendor training courses.

Manage and lead all departments with QHSE and training requirements.

Management of external auditors.

Manage and lead company on Non-conformances raised both internal and external.

Manage company requirements with accredited standards and bodies.

Support all departments on staff performance / HR.

Actively introduce new initiatives to maintain efficient staff competence levels.

Salary: Dependant on experience
