Special Pallet Trucks

As part of an overall solution to help overcome difficulties experienced in moving spool pieces from one location to another on the Armada platform a special Pallet Truck design was developed which incorporated a swivelling frame or plinth.

The swivel mechanism allowed the frame or plinth to be rotated through 360 degrees.

This made it far easier for spool pieces to be placed into very tight areas.

It also significantly reduced prior manhandling issues plus the risk of hand or finger crush type injuries too.
