Explosion proof Offshore Refrigerated Containers

Safelift have completed the supply of two 10ft x 8ft ATEX Rated Zone 2 Refrigerated Containers to Chevron Nigeria.

The containers were supplied meeting the clients strict specification to ensure full compatibility for use in a potentially hazardous environment as well as food safety standards and certified to DNV 2.7-1/BS EN 12079.

Internally the containers were finished in stainless steel with a special floor to allow the cool air to circulate under and around the loaded cargo.

The front doors were split 70/30 with a special smaller door to the right hand side for easier access and fitted with an emergency internal release mechanism.
