Algerian Greenfield Project Supply

Safelift have just completed the supply of a mechanical handling package for the Algerian Reggane Nord gas project.

The Reggane Nord field is the first gas project brought into production from the south western Algerian region of the Sahara Desert.

Safelift supplied a range of equipment from all terrain access machines, counterbalance forklifts and electric utility vehicles all to ATEX Zone 2 specification for use on the production site.

The ATEX certified electric utility vehicle was capable of a payload capacity of 2te and tow load capacity 3te, enabling it to be used for a variety of tasks around the site as well as comfortably seating 2 people in the well equipped cab.

This project demonstrates the technical expertise Safelift can provide to meet the demands of an international greenfield oil and gas project.
