Desire to Hire!

Safelift have seen a large increase in demand for both long and short term hires of their manual handling & deck equipment in the last few months.

We feel that this is down to operators looking at reducing their capital expenditure but still providing the equipment needed to get the job done safely and efficiently.

The latest long term hire to a major operator has just been delivered on a 6monthly /yearly rotation agreement. This covers all the platforms deck equipment needs from a pallet truck to a drop front basket.

In this case the operator not only recognised the savings achieved with hiring direct from an original equipment manufacturer, but also the overall cost savings with no maintenance and inspection costs occurring offshore due to the items being rotated.

On return to Safelift the equipment receives a full manufacturers overhaul and inspection, then placed back into the hire fleet ready for the next rotation.

Vitally this ensures fully serviceable, fit for purpose equipment on board the platform at all times.
